🧸 Key Responsibilities As a Jovie caregiver, you’ll:
- Engage children through games, crafts, and age-appropriate activities
- Prepare light, healthy meals and snacks
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Support daily care needs such as diapering, dressing, and hygiene routines
- Assist with homework and educational tasks (where applicable)
- Maintain open, professional communication with parents
- Monitor children’s safety and respond to minor first-aid needs if necessary
👶 Who We’re Looking For Ideal candidates will have:
- At least 1 year of childcare experience , including babysitting, nannying, daycare, church nurseries, or similar settings
- Comfort working with various age groups:
- Newborns (0–5 months)
- Infants (6–12 months)
- Toddlers (1–2 years)
- Preschoolers (3–4 years)
- School-Age Kids (5–12 years)
- Teens (13–17 years)
- CPR and First Aid certification—or willingness to complete (we’ll help!)
- Dependable, communicative, and nurturing personality
- Ability to follow family guidelines and adapt to different home environments
- Bonus: Experience working with children with special needs or diverse abilities
- Bonus: Bilingual or multilingual (Spanish, ASL, etc.)
