Entegris is currently seeking an Electrical Technician to join our Microcontamination Division at our San Luis Obispo, CA facility. Responsibilities include performing electrical panel layout and wiring tasks related to building Ultra High Purity Systems, operating safely and complying with work instructions and drawings. Duties involve learning and understanding standard and non-standard options per Customer Data Sheets, wiring panels following schematics and instructions, laying out components on electrical panels, assembling point to point wiring including cable and harness installation, learning engineering specifications to produce quality products timely, assisting with 6S responsibilities, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, ensuring on-time shipments, working safely and recognizing others' safety, providing accuracy and consistency in work, learning proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards, and working both independently and as part of a team. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 0-2 years of electrical assembly experience or basic experience, ability to lift/move up to 50lbs daily, ability to climb ladders and stand for extended periods, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly, basic computer and data entry skills, dependability, flexibility, and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
