Salary:

Position Summary: As a Mid-Level Okta Access Management Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring, integrating, and deploying Okta in client environments. You will play a crucial role in implementing Identity and Access Governance solutions that provide advanced authentication services and ensure secure information distribution.

Candidate must be a US citizen (green cards are not accepted) and able to obtain a public trust clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate applications from IBM WebSEAL platform to Okta.
  • Design, develop, configure, integrate, test, and deploy Okta authentication solutions integrate with LDAP services leveraging SSO, MFA, PIV/Smartcard, Identity Providers, etc.
  • Take user stories and requirements in the Agile board and develop the capabilities to Okta.
  • Development must be in two weeks sprint.
  • Develop technical architectures for integrating identity management, access management, and access governance software into client infrastructure and applications.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Okta REST APIs, Sign-in Widgets, SDKs, Java, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with a distributed team, often communicating virtually to support IAM applications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on engineering experience in designing, configuring, deploying, and supporting Okta solutions in production environment.
  • Experience implementing customized solutions in Okta platform.
  • Familiar with Okta Access Gateway, SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, biometrics, PIV/CAC/Smartcard, PKI, FIDO 2.0, and passwordless authentication.
  • Familiar with Okta Directory integrations, User management, App integration.
  • Okta Certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency in Identity & Access Governance, access control, and access request processes.
  • Technical architecture experience integrating identity and access management solutions into client infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Okta REST APIs, Sign-in Widgets, SDKs, Java, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, while maintaining strong communication with the team in Rosslyn, VA and Washington, DC.
