Responsibilities
Translating strategy into compelling product experiences that align with business goals and delight customers.
Leading and contributing to design initiatives from concept to execution—balancing user needs, product goals, and technical constraints.
Solving complex interaction and visual design problems using user-centered design principles and scalable design patterns.
Collaborating cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to ensure a cohesive and polished end-to-end experience.
Creating clear, detailed design documentation and specifications to support development.
Participating in and supporting user research efforts—such as usability testing and journey mapping—to uncover insights and validate solutions.
Providing thoughtful feedback and informal mentorship to peers and junior designers.
Communicating design rationale effectively to stakeholders, advocating for the user at every step.
What we’re looking for
Have a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design across responsive web and mobile platforms.
Bring a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually compelling, intuitive user interfaces.
Demonstrate deep understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and modern interaction patterns.
Excel at working independently in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities and consistently delivering high-quality work.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and researchers to create cohesive user experiences.
Contribute to and support user research activities such as usability testing, journey mapping, and stakeholder interviews.
Possess a background in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Communicate design decisions and rationale clearly to a range of audiences, advocating for the user throughout.
Mentor and support junior designers, fostering a culture of feedback, learning, and continuous improvement.
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$98 900,00Maximum:
$228 700,00In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
