RSM is seeking a Director for our Financial Due Diligence team within the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice. In this role, you will work with our award-winning Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Advisory team, servicing corporate and private equity clients. Our M&A services include readiness, diligence, transaction execution, and integration support. Our TAS team comprises seasoned professionals providing buy-side and sell-side financial, technology, and operational diligence services and advice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple financial due diligence engagements related to acquisitions and divestitures by private equity and corporate clients.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality planning and work products that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Utilize business development skills to expand transaction advisory services.
  • Identify new business opportunities and enhance go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead and motivate teams, foster trust, leverage diverse perspectives, and coach staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Approximately 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in financial due diligence.
  • Proven success in building and growing a Transaction Advisory Service Practice.
  • Big Four or similar consulting experience.
  • Experience servicing private equity groups.
  • Experience developing and supervising staff.
  • Thorough knowledge of professional services or large consultancy environments.
  • Strong client relationship skills and industry knowledge.
  • High integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% nationally and locally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Salary range: $146,100 - $293,700, plus potential discretionary bonuses based on performance.
